I just managed to get 50 mini hand lotion bottles for £5 so I'm going to give the women little toiletry sets as favours. Does anyone know anywhere where I could get mini soaps and bubble baths?
Or can anyone think of any thing else I can put in with a bath set?

they were a bargain where did you get them from? boots do tons of amazing deals at times just depends what is available. depending on the type of guests you could put in a nail file, mini lipstick, etc.0

Hi good idea - try ebay, maybe sometimes £1 shop places might do some or some companies might send you some samples. Hotels give them out free - do you know anyone who travels for business who could get you some ? Clearance area of tkmaxx ?We got married 17th April 2010 !! A wonderful day with my wonderful husband !! :T0

It was only cos I saw them that I figured it would be a great idea, soap etc is cheap enough, they were from one of the superstore shops, bookers? There were sewing kits too but we decided they wouldn't get used.
I was thinking the lotion, soap/bubble baths, shampoo and some little tea lights, or maybe face masks, a nice little pamper kit kind of thing. Nail files would be a good idea. Then there is some chance they will go to good use. But still on a budget!0 -
Right, to keep the price down on everything, I'm being as flexible as possible so I'm going to get together a list of things that could go in there;
Hand lotion
bubble bath
nail file
soap
face mask
ingrediants for face masks?
Little instructions on relaxing
tea lights with holders (just seen some for about 30p with the candle)
Can anyone think of any others?0 -
I don't mean to be rude, but .... !!!!!!??? If I went to a wedding and was given some bag of random stuff, that I'd never use/might be allergic to ... I'd slip it in a plant pot when nobody was looking. Or behind a curtain.
Why bother?
Save yourself time, effort, stress .... these favours things are fairly new. No idea where the idea crept into, but they really seem mad to me.
... what about the blokes? What do they get? Set of 3 screwdrivers and some WD40?0 -
You're right, I'll not do it because you don't like it.0

I think all of your ideas sound great. are you putting them in bags? how about making your own wedding crackers as things like face mask would fit in perfectly.
ALL guests will appreciate all of this btw as its a nice personal touch. the one thing i would bear in mind is if anyone has any allergies. for some bizarre reason i am now allergic to lavendar (used to be fine) and now i cant even stand near a plantbut im sure the ladies can swap items if they need to between themselves if someone has a problem like that anyway
plus if they are close friends you would know about this already!

btw you could also do mens toiletries as well. my son and partner are into toiletries more than me and son loves bath bombs!0
