Suspend Orange Contract- Prsion Sentence
Unfortunately i'll soon be doing a stint in prsion probably for 1yr or so. I currently have an orange contract for 18months with probably 12/13mths left to go. Anyone know if i can have my contract suspended whilst im in there or am i able to end it? Also whilst on the subject my HSBC account is contracted to a 1yr term of £8/mth am i able to ask for this to be suspended whilst i am in?

Bypassing the nosey parker in me to ask what you did, you will be able to get out of the contract. They'll stand their ground, but this will count as an extreme change of circumstances. You arent earning or of fixed address so they cant bill you.
They may drag their heels, but if you shout loud enough, they will break it.Earn £10 a day JAN: £92.23 / £310 :j ...............NSD Jan 2/10
14 months to debt free with snowballing (start date Jan 2012) £0/12600........JAN weight loss target 5/60 pounds

I did something that i am HUGELY ashamed of!! Its now time to pay my dues to society and move on and NEVER go back!!
I'll contact them and see what they've got to say, although i don't mind if they're willing to suspend the contract and let me continue when i'm as i have a blistering contract with them!0 -
If only the sentence could be suspended instead of the contract!0

It doesn't.
The fact remains that a suspended sentence would mean the OP wouldn't have to suspend their contract.
What the OP is or isn't guilty of has no bearing on that
