You could ask Gordon Brown if its his fault the economy is in a mess and millions of people are out of work.
You wont get a very accurate answer though.Mortgage debt - [STRIKE]£8,811.47 [/STRIKE] Paid off!0 -
Just ask the selling agent?0

Rightmove's http://www.rightmove.co.uk/house-value.html shows current and historical entries for a postcode, so switching agents/relisting doesn't hide everything.Act in haste, repent at leisure.

I use this and it is fab- one thing though, it provides the following info for any properties what have been merketed:
Marketed on Rightmove until DATE
However, it does not seem to tell you when it went ON the market? Or am I missing that bit??

Ask the EA.
Ask the vendor.
Ask to see the hip. They might say they don't need one because it was first put on for sale back in the dark ages (Do all properties now have to have a HIP even if they've been on for sale for a long time?)
The hip will have a date of when it was put together.0 -
According to Rightmove it's been on since 17/7/09 with Marshalls?
No record of it being on the market before that, with any other agents, and I searched back 5 years.
The last 2 sales are
No.5 23/7/07 Terraced £179,950
No1 17/9/04 Terraced £149,950
HTHMy home is usually the House Buying, Renting and Selling Forum where I can be found trying to (sometimes unsucessfully) prove that not all Estate Agents are crooks. With 20 years experience of Sales/Lettings and having bought and sold many of my own properties I've usually got something to say

If a property came onto the market before HIP's were introduced the property only needs to have an EPC.My home is usually the House Buying, Renting and Selling Forum where I can be found trying to (sometimes unsucessfully) prove that not all Estate Agents are crooks. Thank you MM, that is excellent. I thought it had been on a while but not that long. The old guy has gone into a nursing home, and his family are selling so it gives me extra negotiating power if we decide to buy.
We have a viewing on Tues, and have already been and peered through the windows as it has vacant posession.:hello:0
