iPhone - phone contracts?
Hi - sorry if I'm being a bit thick here but am I right in thinking that you can only use an iPhone with Orange, O2 or Vodaphone?
If so, are there any plans to add other mobile networks any time soon?
I was thinking of buying my daughter an iPhone for her 18th this June. She currently runs on a Tesco pay-monthly contract at £15 per month, giving her £60 worth of calls and texts so it would be nice to stay with them.
Thanks for your time

Tesco do their own iPhone (internally they use O2 network). Cehck the link http://direct.tesco.com/p/inc/specials/iphone/.
Also, if you have an unlocked iPhone, you can use it on any network, as long as you have a 3G sim.
Also, there are several threads in this forum about cheapest iphone deals. Go through them, you will find lot of info.0 -

That was a quick response - thanks!
I've also just seen that O2 can unlock your iPhone for £15 if you buy it on a Pay & go basis. At least that gives me some options but I will check out Tesco's!I would love to be lazy but can't find the time:exclamati0 -
Just make sure she has a large data bundle on her acc, or she'll use all her credit in about an hour !0

The iPhone lives online. If she not got some kind of data bundle or allowance on her acc she'll find that VERY soon all her credits been used up on data.0
