Can't view Who's Online....

I was looking for a particular user friend of mine whom I knew was online today, but with the scrambled names at the bottom of the forums page it was hopeless, so I went to Quick Links and Who's On Line, but all I got was a blank page. I refreshed but not luck. Eventually I found my friend by sifting through the users list at the bottom.
I just tried it again now as a matter of curiosity and I still get a blank page. I've deleted cookies so it's not that. What then?
