Sold a phone on ebay, does this look dodgy?

I remember something about mobile phones and a Nigerian scam....

    If it is a paypal auction, just advise them AS PER PAYPAL REQUIREMENTS, you will only send it to the address registered on Paypal.


    Also - was it actually an international auction?

    I didnt know that you could specify UK or international auctions within Ebay??

    Yes, you can select what countried you will and won't post to... could you post the item number please, and I will have a look at it for you.

    My advice is refund it as there are alot of scams going around and most of them are to do with postage to nigeria.

    This is almost definitely a fraudster operating with zero (or negative feedback) and an account that has been opened in the last 30days.

    Suggest that when you relist your phone you select as part of buyer requirements that purchasers must have a paypal account. You should also make it clear in the listing that you will only post the phone to paypal verified buyers with confirmed addresses as unfortunately there are also a lot of scammers in the UK .

    dodgy as f... they will then not pay via paypal, but try the usual western union crap

    also, your fees - do a npb as he is abroad and you did not advertise?

    when you relist, this will be refunded as long as the fvf is refunded.
