Need to deposit funds, somewhere.

Recently I needed to cash in several ISA's and various other accounts as I needed a fair sum, I can now replace this amount, £21,000 and ideally would like it to be within the Halifax range of accounts. To all intents and purposes, it should not be required, so can be left untouched. Having said that, I suppose I ought to have a hassle free account that would allow me to access it if needs be. Any idea's?

You don't need to with the Vantage accounts suggested - simply set up Standing Orders from a/c 'A' to 'B'; 'B' to 'C' and 'C' to 'A' for the same day each month, which meets the £1,000 per month funding requirement. Then transfer the interest (paid within the first few days of each month) of around £20 per account into a savings account.

Halifax Web Saver Extra seems to be ideal?

If you have a current account, then it pays 3% (variable), and allows one withdrawal per year.

It takes no more than five minutes to apply online, and about 15 seconds to transfer money out of it.
