Switching from Vodafone at home

We are wanting to switch from Vodafone at home.

Currently pay £25 a month for landline, broadband with the free calls all day etc

But we hardly ever use the landline and almost never use all the minutes

I've never migrated before so do I just ring vodafone and request a mac code (we've been with them for over 18 months) and then sign up to the new company?

Thinking of getting o2 broadband, £7.50 a month with cashback (but will need to get an o2 payg sim). I'm not sure what landline to get, just about to investigate.

That should be all there is to it. Have you checked if you have an LLU exchange so that you can get the cheap pricing on O2? You can check at www.samknows.com
