hi im just wondering if someone could help me.

i placed an order llast night on the carephone warehouse for a 24month iphone contract, i waited till this morning to find out if i got a yes or no on in instead i got this

what does this mean??? does it mean yes u have it come in and comferm a some stuff then we will give u the phone, or does it mean we wanna waste ur time, just to say no at the end off it all,

sounds like our sales system (pie) has killed itself again...

when any contract is done we do an internal check on id and address, and the sales system doesnt like something, either your address is weird and it cant be found, or something stupid like that or the card you will use for your DD isnt the same as the address you put in on the website

our system doesnt like that so i would ring up and ask

so that means when i go into store tomorrow they will credit check me again or just to clear the thing on there system up

well what may happen is because the online system couldnt get ID proofs, no credit check happened, so take with ya, proof of ID (passport) proof of Address (bank card) and CnP card.

and they should be able to finish the sale in store

i try,d ringing them with no luck after about 5 mins off being passed around by the automated system i gave up, im just not wanting tomorrow to be a wasted journey to town as im an hour and half away by bus

go into the store and just do it there, as over the web you will be charged for delivery as your NI

just remember a CnP card for the proofs in the sale

CnP is that chip and pin yeah does that help alot with the check
