Vodafone Contract Cancelled - Still taking Money - Now saying no record of cancellati

I moved house and couldnt get any signal on my phone. So i paid nearly £300 to get out of my vodafone contract and sent an email to them via a webform to inform them of my cancellation (as requested).

I heard nothing for 8 months so assumed everything was well.

Last month i noticed 2 payments, 1 in Dec and 1 in Jan had been taken from my account. I spoke to there customer service who tried to tell me that even though i had paid them the cancellation fee and sent them an email requesting the cancellation they didnt cancel it and instead emailed me to discuss it further. I never received the email they claimed to sent. I explained to the man on the phone that i had paid the money, requested the cancellation and for them to send me just one email and then to just leave my account open was unacceptable, if there was a problem cancelling they should have tried harder to get in touch. Anyway, matey on the phone accepted this, refunded my money and said he had cancelled the direct debit and i cancelled it from my online banking as well.

But now in Feb they have taken payment again. Of course im speaking to someone new from customer services who doesnt seem to have any notes on my account with anything discussed last month, and also says there are no details on my account requesting cancellation.

As it stands now i am waiting for a manager to call me back after i went a bit crazy at the bloke.

Im only £36 out of pocket, which i will definetly get refunded, well i would have thought so anyway......is there anything else i can claim from them? There debit this month actually sent me overdrawn as well as its an account purely for bills so has enough in it to pay what is meant to come out. Just wondered if i can take things any further for the total inconvienience of it all and the fact they are not doing as i say!!

thanks in advance.
