    well i saw the dvb button in the post above and for those that don't know dvb stands for 'digital video broadcast'
    rather than dtv which stands for 'digital television'
    sort of obvious really, anyway once hes got the aerial plugged in he will need to do a retune as if was running from a freeview source the tv itself will have never been tuned in to start with!

    Is not a "smart a**" comment at all, i would love a £ for the number of times someone has asked advice on something, and after a quick look at the book I have found the answer is on page X.
    As its a wednesday my crystal ball is taking a half day off, so it did not let me know you are missing the instruction book.
    At times any combination of my spelling, grammar or punctuation may be incorrect. Please do not pick me up for this as, after all, it is only an internet forum.

    1st can i just say i'm a woman, and i'm not technical, so that is why i asked for help. Maybe it shouldn't matter and i should know what to do but i don't

    Maybe you should give a straight answer with out guessing if there is or is not a manual kev_min,we're not all blessed with genius brains as you are.

    Saint chris,plug the aerial in the back of tv,press dtv on remote if you can find it and press menu to do a search for digital channels.
