I love First Direct too, been with them since 2005, never had any cause for complaint - every phone call I've ever made has been answered within seconds, and each and every person I've spoken to couldnt have been more helpful. Makes a nice change from some companies - it amazes me that FD are a part of HSBC, because with their telephone banking I always found their waiting times, foreign call centres and general lack of helpfulness shocking!0
