BE Value broadband question

Hello, does anyone know if BE Value broadband is only available in LLU exchanges, or nationwide? In the 'cheap broadband' article it says 'all-comers' which I would read as being nationwide, but I need to be sure before getting my MAC code and cancelling my old broadband.

Incidentally, I'm paying O2 £17.50 for their Access package whereas BE Value is £7.50, albeit with a large 40GB cap.

Thanks if anyone knows...

Why not enter your phone number of the Be website and let them tell you if it is available to you?

  • The reason I don't do that is because it says, "you already have an order with BE" - because I'm on O2. So it doesn't show me.

Click that you don't have a BT line then enter your postcode.
  • That worked - thanks! It says that it's not available. Which contradicts the call centre sales person I spoke to and the 'all-comers' statement in the 'cheap broadband' article. But not a problem as long as I know... I was doubtful when I spoke to them to be honest, I think the person on the phone just didn't understand.
    Thanks again, very helpful!

If you can get O2, then I would have thought you can get Be. They are both owned by O2 and I'm pretty certain they both share their LLU equipment in the exchanges.
  • I'm on the O2 Access package, which is the one they provide if your exchange is not unbundled. It's OK but expensive compared to other options.

    I think that's the difference - O2 will provide a non-LLU service but Be will/can not.

Unfortunately the O2 Access is not anywhere near as good as its LLU service. Can you get any LLU provider?
