First Contract Advice

First poster, longer time reader,

I am thinking about signing up for my first mobile contract and just wanted to get better informed better I did.

Firstly, will I be able to get a contract? I have never applied for any credit cards/loans/credit of any kind, I have a basic current account with the Halifax and have only been employed for around 7 months.

If I can't get a contract can I have one setup in a parents name but paid through my bank account or would they have to have the contract I simply set up a direct debit to the account for the amount.

Thanks Jim

you will have no problem gettin a contract. i got one when i was a student all outgoings no incomings and niot even a question asked. Its not like a loan or anything, if you dont pay they will just cut you off an you will receive a strike on your credit file
