Homecall Free Phone Offer

I transfered from BT to Homecall when they offered to give me a free DECT phone. I agreed and transfered my line rental and calls to them.

Now to be fair they are ok.....

My concern is that it is now four months and no phone....i have telephoned several times to find out where it is and all they say we will have to re order it......indeed one operator even stated they knew someone who waited six months.....

Homecall say they will send it once the first bill is paid after four weeks......for me its nearly five months and no phone!!

Anyone else had this problem?

They gave us our phone when we signed up in the store, I cancelled it before it was even connected and they never asked for the phone back. that was about 10 months ago
  • Homecall seem a little confused - their Hometime page is headed:
    Hometime - £4.50 per month
but the text immediately underneath reads:
A great package for keeping in touch with family and friends after work and at weekends. For just £6 per month ......

Yes, I got the free phone in The Link when I sign up and the salesman even told me if I cancelled before it started I would still keep the phone. Guess they tightened up the offer since so many MSE'rs signed instore for their free phones ;)

All I can suggest is keep plugging on about it or maybe try going into a Link Store?
