Vodafone iphone..can I get better?

I am due an upgrade shortly, I have been with vodafone for some years and am in the top 120,000 high usage customers due to my work.

They offered me, the 8GB iphone, 600 mins unlimited texts and internet for £40 a month.

Apparently Apple have 'locked' them in and they can't offer better deals...is this true??!

Yup, Apple set the price that's why all the networks charge about the same. Apple won't have their products devalued by price cutting. . .
