I'm sure what dagobert meant was is it possible to have one of each (a 7% and an 8% regular saver), or can you only have one regular saver, at either 7% or 8% depending on your circumstances!
My local Abbey branch already has posters up for the 7% regular saver, didn't see anything about any 8% one, but I was just passing on a bus at the time!
Be good if you could make your £1k investment (in order to obtain the 8% one) by putting £1k or more in one of these new 5.5% fixed rate two year bonds!

Many people have had bad experinces with Abbey. Over the years, they have attracted a lot of complaints in terms of customer service. Maybe, they may have cleaned up their act recently though.0
