Can someone help with a bluetooth problem please

I have a nokia 6320i and my husband has a samsung d600
If he takes a video and sends it via bluetooth to me, my phone says it has received and processed the files and asks me where I want them
It doesn't matter where I put them I can't play them, it just says operation failed straight away as soon as I've pressed to play
If I take a video and send it to him, he can watch it, send it back to me and I can watch it
Does anyone have any idea whats going on please
It will have to be in really simple terms LOL
