It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.
  • Scaredy-re your car..that sounds normal to me...my X Type has abs,and when braking on snow/ice it makes a grinding sound, and feels like the pedal is juddering.....my DH says normal for ABS....don't worry..
    Bun-posted flutterbyes off this morning...

I am mega tired today...got up late for me...7.15 so am behind...in everything..

    Got loads to do

I have a slow puncture on my car due to the amount of sodding pot holes everywhere on the roads...I should ring the council up and make a complaint but no idea how to do it...

  • Can do it on black ice too Scaredy. I complained about potholes via our councils website Sammy, they had a section for roads and highways, and there was a specific "report a pothole" type-linky thing.....

Must go and shower, being taken out for posh lunch today-just looked it up on web,and the restaurant is actually in the kitchens so you can watch the action...

  • Morning. Not stopping as working.
Got a bit stuck and waiting for boss to reply to an e-mail.
I think I may have got the sack by the end of the week.

    Hugs Bookie. Be positive.

Is it anything we can try and help with?

  • Good luck with the claim Sammy-I tried and got nowhere. They sent me all the forms to fill in after my tyre disintegrated after hitting a ginormous pothole and after a few weeks council wrote back saying as they had inspected the road within the last 6 months, and the pothole wasn't there then, they didn't have to pay!!My local tyre fitter offers insurance on new tyres for only £1...I always take it out now....
