my sons partner got a parking ticket yesterday from these people in asdas car park.
she was in the drop off and collect bay and had popped inside to get the person she was collecting. gone a matter of a couple minutes.
the parking person said she was allowed to be there for 5 mins only yet there was no sign there saying that.
can this be enforced??? can they do all the nasty things that a council parking ticket would entail.
has anyone one ever been ticketed by these people and not paid it????
any advice would be good.

Just ignore and do not contact them. That's the best advice and they will soon lose interest .
Don't forget they are just a private company with no more right to demand a penalty than you or I. They are a completely different animal to a legitimate council car-parking set-up.What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -
thanks for that. bit worried though they can issue a parking ticket to the value of £60 but if you dont pay, they just go away???0

They wont go away straight away, they will contact her, they will threaten,
they will try to browbeat, they will say we may take you to court, we may do this, we may do that, believe me/us they wont. just tell her no matter just file the letters behind the clock on the mantelpiece and forget them.
They have no authority to issue fines, only police and councils can do that.
They are scammers - ignore them completely, if she needs more assurance have a look at the PePipoo website.

Interesting if you go into their website to the payments page. You can enter any Reg No and PCN No beginning with DL, and any date and it will present you with an amount to pay. Looks like another amateurish scam outfit.0

Lol sounds as professional as PCN-UK Ltd.
They wanted to charge me £15 for a ficticious Reg No, PCN No and date. I thought that was a bargain!! I wanted to pay with a ficticious credit card but I thought better of it. That might mess up their accounting system... hmmmm.. on the other hand...

I suggest you research the e-Trading regulations. Such a facility is in breach and deserves to be reported.0
