i'd recommend zazizam... i have been told that they have new pricing on the way, so will upgrade to something like 1mb soon, hopefully
but anyhow - i have found them to be reliable.... but you should ask yourself, do you really need 2mb... if 512k is doing you just well, then i wouldn't bother upgrading - web pages won't load any faster... you'll only see an improvement on downloading... but only if the place you are downloading from has good reliable servers
its like buying a car that can go 200mph - hey you can show off to everyone you can go that fast, but only while downloading... for normal webstuff your still effectively stuck at 70mph0 -
Don't know if they still do this, but one of my lines is on the Tiscali 1Mb for £14.99. Actually, I get 2Mb speeds most of the time so it's really very good.
Just in case you were wondering, you just have to phone up Tesco to get your MAC (not MAC Code) (Migration authorisation code), then phone up your new supplier and give them the code. It saves you having to pay another line connection charge, as your line is already activated for broadband.
Re: Tiscali, no problems to report and coming to the end of the one year contract. On the one occasion I did contact Customer Service (to check if it was a problem with my router or their service as to why I had no net access, turned out to be my router settings and a forgotten username format) they were really helpful (despite the indian call centre). So all's happy here.
Cheers and take care.
