    I'm changing my house & contents to directline & my car is insured by direct line too.

    Can't remember the figures off the top of my head but it's a lot cheaper then I was paying before & because it's a lot cheaper I can afford to pay it in a 1 off payment avoiding the interest they add on over 12 months.

    Basically I am not an all-eggs-in-one-basket-man and I have my doubts if one gets the best price overall by being one. The one exception I make is with Buidlings and Contents because of the possibly remote chance that you will have a claim that the Buildings insurer will argue against paying as it is xonsisered a contents claim and vice versa.
