Not to defend these guys but there is more than one person in the world called Martin Lewis, and I don't see any reference to MSE in that email either.0

The moral of the story - never buy or use any services mentioned in a spam e-mail (any unsolicited advertisements from people you do not know). (If you use the services, you only encourage spammers - and you make my inbox get full of junk and make me very angry  - you won't like me when I'm angry ).
Has anyone had the MoneyExpert Limited e-mails? This is another deliberate misuse of the MoneySavingExpert name IMO. See below... (They are sent to e-mail addresses sold on by pigsback.com).

One way to tell which company leaked your email address is to buy your own domain name and set-up catch all e-mail. This increases your risk of receiving spam, as now anything sent to anyname@yourdomain.com will now be received. The idea is when you sign up to sites then you can put your email as, for example, moneysavingexpert.com@yourdomain.com Now if you get spam e-mail sent to that address you know moneysavingexpert.com has either sold your e-mail address on, or has had data stolen (not saying MSE would do this, just an example, I know MSE is very trustworthy which is sadly why the scamsters abuse the name).
Also note that if your e-mail address is posted on a website, web bots harvest the internet searching web pages for them adding them to databases. The above e-mail addresses, although not genuine, will likely be added and spammed because of the automated manner in which the spammers work.0 -

I actually applied because it had Martin Lewis on - but via Quidco. I have paid a fee upfront - do I get 8% of this fee back and a loan? Or is this misselling?
How do I reclaim my pre-approved unenforcable cashback spam mis-sale?Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
