Your tickets probably havent even been sent out yet.
Why do you want compensation because someone elses tickets have been sent to you. (confused) (where has the little confused emoticon gone)make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
Hilarious - wanting compensation for being given someone's name address and four random numbers.
It is sad that this is the culture we live in.0 -
Won't somebody think of the children!0

Oh you lot are awful!!!!
The poor OP is probably suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder at the thought he can see someone's address. That may well lead to clinical depression...and agoraphobia.
Hell...he'll probably never work again!!!!!
OP - I'd put in a claim for your annual salary multiplied by how many years you have left to retirement. Clearly your life is now over due to this disgusting upset to your life and mental well-being.“Don't do it! Stay away from your potential. You'll mess it up, it's potential, leave it. Anyway, it's like your bank balance - you always have a lot less than you think.”

I'm obviously writing to the company as we speak. I ordered some tickets over the net the other day & today received the tickets belonging to someone else in my local area for different journeys altogether (they live about 5 miles away). I've never contacted this person in my life though.
The first ticket for travel is on 26 Feb so still a little way to go before they're needed. thankfully, my first travel date is at towards the end of april but i go on holiday in a few days so want this sorted out.
Not only do i have their tickets, but i also have their name, address and the last 4 digits of their credit card. This is an obvious Data Protection breach, but is there anything i can claim for in my letter by way of compensation? I expect my tickets have gone to someone else, possibly to this other person.
Am writing my letter now, so your advice on the compensation part would be useful.
Thanks to all
You would need to provide more detail on the exact monetary loss that you have sufferred from this mistake and for which you feel you need to be compensated?
You do understand the meaning of the word 'compensation'?"We act as though comfort and luxury are the chief requirements of life, when all that we need to make us happy is something to be enthusiastic about” – Albert Einstein0 -
