    Yes and you need the pan really hot - the first one usually sticks so you always end up throwing that one away!!

    I remember hearing an old saying -Children Are Like Pancakes - You Should Be Able to Throw the First One Away.

    Make it in a jug, easier to pour into the pan ... rather than a mixing bowl. My mum used to make it in a bowl then use a small cup to pour it out ... helluva mess.

    Does anyone remember the Dutch Pancake House? Used to be one in the centre of Manchester, the plates were enormous, you could have any filling you wanted sweet or savoury.
  • Golden syrup, crunchy brown sugar and lemon juice, awesome, can't wait!

    Also you can have savoury ones, I had a tuna one at a pancake place once, a bit weird though.
