Pay and Go iphone.

Hi,

I am going to be getting, from family and OH an iPhone for my birthday in march. Very very generous indeed.

I have contacted Orange but they dont seem to respond. I am wondering if anyone has experienced an iPhone on Pay ang Go. I don't mind paying for calls but I would need to take advantage of internet as it's an internet phone and also texting.

The free internet usage on Dolphin seems to be social networking sites only is it not?

Can someone let me know if they have a Pay and Go iPhone on orange and how they are getting on.

Many thanks,
Mike.

I don't have an Iphone, but I do have some Orange PAYG phones in the house. Their PAYG internet is not just social networking sites anymore, it's any sites, however 50mb a month probably won't be enough for even minimal amounts of surfing.

i see. i'm on orange dolphin pay and go. i'm quite happy to pay for calls as i rarely use them but would like say, 300 texts like i have now but free internet too. i'm sure i'm getting charged a few pence for just nipping onto yahoo email. over the month this could be huge costs...
  • Don't Orange have an internet only contract - something like £5 a month? Wd that let you surf, and then call/text using PAYG?

  • Hi legoman, I work for Orange and may be able to help.

Our iPhone Dolphin packages include 250mb UK mobile internet browsing each month, for 12 months, if you top up by £10, £20, £30 or £50 per month.

Further information on the different packages available for the iPhone on Orange can be found at http://shop.orange.co.uk/iphone/.

    Hope this helps.

There is likely to be a new model in June.

PayandGo on O2 is very good as well and there is no data limit and you get access to BT Openzone and The Cloud wifi points.

Everyone has their own experiences, I have always found O2 to be very good and their customer services better than most others.

There will still most likely be a new model in June though.
