I am so jealous of people with free childcare lol, my family dont live near me but even if they did they wouldnt help out like that.
Sometimes the surveys and reviews get me down and I feel like I am never off a computer (at home and at work) I told myself that I should plan a night off completely and just watch tv or something but then it niggles at me lolMPs left feb '08 276- Dec 13 36 :T MB Jan 10 ~ £82,377 Dec 13 ~ £29987

yes I'm very lucky, tho it was never the plan, its just happened once I was back at work and they wouldn't let me reduce my hours so my parents helped me out tho they believe it'll be short term as I wont be able to keep up part time, they're probably right but will keep going for now
yeah I see what u mean about the surveys, once u start its hard to stop, prob best I don't start then!Mortgage November 2003 was £135k, but thanks to this website on 28/08/12 we became MORTGAGE FREE!

£46 on shopping this week, plus I owed my mum some money for bits so another £20 out of the account... not sure what's gone wrong this month. I put £300 aside for food and petrol and 'hoped' there'd be £100 to put in the mortgage pot and I have about a fiver left. I have looked back, I've wasted loads on bits and over spent on shopping, spent about £70 in B&Q etc also, filled out the wood on our stairs, bought a picnic bench and garden wood paint which I seem to be obsessed with!
Hubby has been really sweet and given me £40 towards shopping so that maybe able to go towards mortgage afterall...shall see!
Had a fairly productive time off and got lots done, which was good but gotta go back to work again nowI got paid extra last month and I will get less this month to compensate so think June will be a long month of inpatience!
Going to start planning ahead for things and try and get jobs done that don't cost much in the meantime. Plus next months plan is to not mess up the shopping budget again!
We have decided to have a big holiday once the mortgage is paid, which will fall around hubbys 30th birthday, however we may still have some debt but it would be nice to go for his birthday as he finds tight living harder! Too far ahead to plan too much tho, so must plough on for now!
Looking forward to the second MFiT chart
PS still no luck on quidco....Mortgage November 2003 was £135k, but thanks to this website on 28/08/12 we became MORTGAGE FREE!

Perhaps were better off in the uk sun then haha, tho not so great when your at work!
Right, just got child benefit payment through, so I've paid it straight off, I have rounded up (as you do) and that 100% will be my last payment now...til friday haha (pay day), I can now scrape half a tank of petrol rather than a whole one and pay my duck vet bill (RIP donald), I just couldn't leave the odd number and having a tough week so I needed some excitement haha...

yay! quidco has come through, £173.55 which we will get next week. we have to sort our stair bannisters out so this may contribute to this rather than the mortgage but it should certainly have less impact on over paying if nothing else. Payday tomorrow so can do better update then...Mortgage November 2003 was £135k, but thanks to this website on 28/08/12 we became MORTGAGE FREE!
