Right mortgage payment has come off, £120.70 interest this month so £3.89 a day.

We had decided to buy a woodburner and found a cheap one of ebay but it doesnt come with a surround so we would of had to get one made. Anyway had a look at some other ones and they are nicer and more expensive so have decided to forget the idea for now so made another overpayment of £403 (to round off sum). This means we are slightly ahead of target (£500). The aim is when we are £3300 ahead of target we will get our foundations for the extension started, so an incentive there. Woodburner will have to wait until we are MF!

I predict we may be able to overpay a bit more this month also so will update as we do! Looks like next month will break the £140k mark re total debt......

    hurry on payday :)

    Thank you!

Have some birthday money over so overpaid another £80 today, hoping can still pay a bit more though it is rather quidco dependant and I'm not doing so well with payments at the mo...fingers crossed!

We are so far £580 ahead of target so should go into the £93k's next month!!:j

Paid the electricity rebate into the mortgage (£30), which has back fired slightly as the gas we owe money for so that has used up money unexpectedly (from switching suppliers).

So at this moment I think that may be the end of overpayments for this month unless the travel insurance  or quidco  money comes through no more extras, except maybe a tiny bit near the end...wel see!
