Thank you to everyone for your support and fun displays
Had my payment come out today paid £112 interest so just under £4 a day so really happy with that, my target for next month is to be £96580 yikes! How exciting!
Anyway we have more or less got the chicken run done now after a disasterous weekend of working in the rain, knocking down part of our wall and me stepping on a nail, twice! Unfortunately despite the chickens and ducks happily wandering around the garden together it seems they don't want to share a run so we now have to install a division, which is fine, at least it will be done. The chickens are moved and happily laying so that is something. On the down side my dog is sick!
We had planned for my husband to render the front of the house next week (hes off) so we shall be reliant on the weather forecasts to predict that. Fingers crossed after that I think we consciously need to take a few weeks break.
I was due some tax back which has come back though I'm not sure its is right so may have to seek a tax forum for advice, apart from that still awaiting quidco money- £263 in my account, so unless any of that comes our way no more overpayments this month, which is ok as we are on target.
On the up have a baby shower next week which I have sorted a pressie for plus my friends 2 childrens birthday presents so I can forget about that. This weeks food shop was £32 so if I keep like that all month all is good.Mortgage November 2003 was £135k, but thanks to this website on 28/08/12 we became MORTGAGE FREE!

Quick update from me.
Hubby did a super weeks shop for £28 this week which I was hoping would leave us with a little extra at the end but we ended up going out for 'national pie week' and that cost £26 so not so good but it really has been yonks since weve been out to eat!
I've ended up being owed holiday from my maternity leave so next months money may see a bit extra which should mean we could treat ourselves to the greenhouse without affecting our mortgage plan.
Next plan for us is to get the foundations for our extension done, hubs has calculated this to be £3k which should be splitable into £3k and then £2k after, so at least our planning permission will be started, if we wait to after the mortgage is paid we will lose our pp so didnt want to do that, but once mortgage is paid extension can go up quick. theoretically... So any extra we can accumulate now will go towards that but we may have to skip a couple of overpayments to do that, tho I'll see what we can do as I want to keep ahead in the MFIT challenge!

Quick update
Weekly shop came in at £46 this week, got a few extra bits. Hubby bought us some nice bits this weekend, he had budgeted for the MOT and it ended up being all ok so no extra expenses so he bought me a few bits at the garden centre
Had a few extra odd expenses which may have stopped me sneaking a bit more off the mortgage but never mind, looking forward to pay day again plus easter coming up so some days off to look forward too.Mortgage November 2003 was £135k, but thanks to this website on 28/08/12 we became MORTGAGE FREE!

Thank you!
Last food shop of this month not so good £48 so our total food bill this month was £164. We did buy some extras so id like to aim for £150 next month which will work out as a 5 week month food wise. Our cupboards are fairly full so I think we can do it! Oh I do need some dog food tho so perhaps a little more!
Waiting for the new energy company to confirm our direct debit costs so fingers crossed there should be a saving, i think about £50 a month as we were paying too much anyway and kept getting money back. I hope they let me know asap so I don't have to put off my over payment!
Anyway updated my signature and bunged the remaining cash on the mortgage (£15). Excited for payday as I get my extra holiday pay so I hope I'm not disappointed as I have a figure in my head!Mortgage November 2003 was £135k, but thanks to this website on 28/08/12 we became MORTGAGE FREE!

Yay today we have made a big over payment, once the mortgage payment has come out I should be slightly ahead of target this month!
Got my new energy direct debits through and they have set me £21 and £26 for elect and gas respectively, so over £50 saving there as far as my monthly outgoings go.
Got my holiday pay and that covers the greenhouse so that wont affect overpayments either which is good. Will try and overpay a bit extra this month as think we should be able to but will wait to nearer end of the month as I let us get a bit tight last month!
Hubbys out shopping so hopefully hel manage a bargain shop.

Update again...
My old energy company are sending us £28 which we were in credit for so I will try and round that to £30 and stick it on the mortgage when we get it.
Hubbys food shop was £25, then £15 on the sainsburys 1/3 off baby stuff which is good as this should last us the rest of the month. So although over target for the month so far I hope it will pan out ok.
Went to order the greenhouse which was going to be really expensive, we'd found an all singing all dancing one for £755 and we were just ordering when they added another £47 and at that point we decided against it. We went to B&Q and got one for £189 instead which has plastic panels rather than glass but at least its safe so we save loads on safety glass. Shame we didn't get it on a 20% day but never mind we decided against waiting for one...
Anyway least can get the garden a bit straight now and we have ended up with an extra £500, this is either going on a woodburner or towards the foundations for our extension...yet to decide!Mortgage November 2003 was £135k, but thanks to this website on 28/08/12 we became MORTGAGE FREE!
