No they don't, unless you pack them in your hand luggage. The tip is to wear heavy and bulky items, leaving room in your hand luggage for the rest. If you do wear three jumpers and your warmest coat getting on board try not to get too hot and bothered in the scramble for seats.0 -

FWIW, depending on where you are going, you may be ok, or you may be stuffed !
If you're going somewhere 'cold' and your taking strong shoes, jumpers, warm jackets etc, your baggage weight can quickly add up. If however, you are going somewhere 'hot', unless you go OTT with unnecessary holiday tat, you'll be fine.
Bear in mind that the allowance is 15kg each and spread your luggage across 3 bags. There is no advantage whatsover of you packing light with 10kg but your hubby packing heavy with 20 kg !.
Finally, I'd take soft skinned light weight luggage rather than 'traditional' hard(er) suitaces. Much easier to lug around :beer:0 -
Hi just to say that we are flying with Thomas Cook in July and enquired about extra baggage prices and was quoted £35 per 5kgs.Your fooling no one bar yourself.0

This is what we do. There are 3 of us so I sort each of our clothes into 1/3 s and put 1/3 of each persons clothes into each case. That way, if a bag goes astray we'll each still have 2/3 of our clothes until the lost case turns up.2.22kWp Solar PV system installed Oct 2010, Fronius IG20 Inverter, south facing (-5 deg), 30 degree pitch, no shadingEverything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the endMFW #4 OPs: 2018 £866.89, 2019 £1322.33, 2020 £1337.07
