If you have a TV with a Tuner in and have an aerial installed it will be difficult to prove you are not watching live tv.
It isn't up to you to prove you are not, it is up to TVLA to prove you are!
Just because it has a tuner and connected to an aerial doesn't mean you are watching/recording live tvDon`t steal - the Government doesn`t like the competition0 -
But I bet you are and they'll prove it as its not that hard to prove
If someone is determined not to pay for a licence, then they are hardly going to leave the TV showing live programmes in front of an open window, and as the TVLA employees have no right of entry, then you either don't answer the door or tell them to get lost and close the door if you have opened it to them, so yes it is hard to prove.
p.s. I do have a licence.Don`t steal - the Government doesn`t like the competition0 -
definately still need a license. Otherwise I would sky+ all my tv and claim I dont watch anyting live and dont need a license0

If you Sky+ all your TV, you'd need a licence because you are recording live TV to watch later. If you watch things on BBC iplayer after broadcast, you are neither watching nor recording live TV, so don't need one.Squirrel! If I tell you who I work for, I'm not allowed to help you. If I don't say, then I can help you with questions and fixing products. Regardless, there's still no secret EU law.

What a load of b**l, I believe some of the money goes to Channels 4 & 5.
You need a licence to watch TV as it is broadcast regardless of the programmes you watch.
TV Licensing
Technology
If you watch or record television programmes as they're being shown on TV you must, by law, be covered by a TV Licence, no matter what device you're using.
No mention of BBC only, it says "TV"

Channel 4 & 5 get some (as Derrick said), and it also contributes to upkeep of the infrastructure.Squirrel! If I tell you who I work for, I'm not allowed to help you. If I don't say, then I can help you with questions and fixing products. Regardless, there's still no secret EU law.
