  • Bunnyinthelights- yeah it is! Its fairly cheap as living in London goes and no nasty fuel bills as we buy electric cards/gas/coal/wood up front! We do have council tax though as we are a residential mooring.

Cant wait till the weather improves and we can take her out!

  • A poem for the ladies....
    He didn't like the casserole
And he didn't like my cake.
He said my biscuits were too hard,
Not like his mother used to make.
I didn't perk the coffee right
    He didn't like the stew.
    I didn't mend his socks
The way his mother used to do.
    I pondered for an answer,
I was looking for a clue.
Then I turned and smacked the !!!! out of him
Like his mother used to do.

  • redsquirrel80- Its a good way to live in London for a lot less money- much nicer than a horrible little studio in the smog! I do miss central heating in weather like this but once the coal gets going its toasty!

  • I've always wanted to go on a narrow boat holiday. I spent a day on one for my 'honeymoon' (with my whole family!) and it was a great day!

I was thinking about a narrow boat holiday yesterday - looking through the clubcard deals and dreaming.
