Found you i think. I know, itl be gone by my 19th-the end of June and i think il manage to save most of my 3 week holiday pay then when i go back in August i get a payrise :j So il be saving like mad, i cant wait! Il still be on here just when everyones saying its payday, £400 to debts il be saying the same but to savings instead :j Cant wait until my birthday to be honest. Might work a week of my 3 weeks off....better weather(im a builder) and can really put in the hours(70+ a week)so the money mounts up

I understand you think you can't compare what you are going through with other people but it is heartrending to you.

We need to know what you are going through, we may not be able to help but unless we know we can't even give you a virtual hug....people like me would go around putting their big feet in their mouths all the time...

Rictus....some of the peeps on here have been debt free for a while.......we just can't get rid of em....:rotfl:

they also lend valuable support for the newer peeps who pop up so stick around when you are debt free, anyone is welcome

That's brilliant Rictus, and you'll be able to help the other youngsters, I think they might sometimes look at us with tens of thousands of debt and think that they don't 'deserve' to be on here, or think we're all too old to understand giving up a social life being so hard, it'll be easier for them to listen to someone their own age. (hope that didn't sound patronising).

LMC, my economics course only started this week. So far it's a bit basic, I've done A level economics and it's beneath that level. Plus it's very 'touchy feely', starting with an anecdote about his great aunty Addie. I've been used to history at a 'traditional' uni and the OU, so it's strange getting used to the informal style. The politics one isn't going too well, mainly because it's computer based, I definitely prefer books where I can curl up in bed with it. Having a computer that keeps turning itself off doesn't help either.
