sammy - Studio Ghibli are a very well known and respected Japanese animation company run by Hayao Miyazaki. They make cartoon films for kids and try to look at fun topics and not-so-fun topics. They won an Oscar for Spirited Away in 2004 (Best Animation) I believe. Really good if you have kids or even if you don't** Total debt: £6950.82 ± May NSDs 1/10 **** Fat Bum Shrinking: -7/56lbs **

I think we all have carp things happen in our lives Bookie, its how we choose to deal with them and remember and live for the good things. Dwelling on the bad, doesn't help or make life better it just clogs you down. I could seriously write a list longer than my arm of awful things from the last 10 years from death, sexual abuse, forced sale of house, redundancy, redundancy, affairs, family falls outs...but I TRY (yes I know im a miserable cow at times too) to think about all the wonderful things that have happened too. Birth of my daughter (who is my life) opportunity to experience new things, meet new people, move house.
I truely hope that things work in your favour and you are able to start afresh and that good things keep coming your way
Well said Sal, and hugs hun :kisses3:Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

Bookie, you really can't live like that. I've tried for years, being terrified of being happy because it means being really down afterwards, if feels like I'm cursed because anything good leads to really bad times. It's even got to the point where I daren't call anyone a 'friend' just an 'acquaintance' because 'friends' always end up hurting me. But you can't live like that. I've realised that if you do, it just means you have bad all the time, at least the other way you have some good as well.
Webitha, would you mind if I picked your brains a bit? I'm about to get a PA and I'm not sure how one or two things will work.
Well, I've had a nice afternoon, the computer switched itself off so I decided to go to Sheffield. I wanted some hanging pocket things to keep my socks and tights in, and they were reduced from £4 to £1.25, so I got four. Also the money box I wanted, and some gorgeous scented candles reduced to 25p. Then went to Starbucks and did a chapter of my Economics textbook. I'm so glad I went, I feel a lot less meh now I've got out of the flat for a bit.
Then got a phonecall from sister demanding where I'd been all day cos she was trying to ring. I was sure she'd said it'd be tomorrow, but apparantly she'd said it could be today. Oops. Oh well.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -

I will say no more about my troubles on here. They are minor compared to some I'm sure.
Bookie this is the exact place to rant and rave...we all do it and its our way of getting it off our chests and clearing the mind
