A bit bizzarre this one! Explains better on the site. Basically hes in a steel box for upto 30 days. You can try to guess early now, but he doesnt get locked up until 15th feb. It seems to be free entry for now at least.

Don't really get this one, we are viewing Tim Shaw who's locked in a box for 30 days, we have to find him. Presuming we have to find the location of the box he's in?

Clue on the website now says...along the lines of Today's hidden clue is on the stumbleupon.com website, bizarre/oddities section, find it and get ahead of the rest.

if this helps...i've just played the game,i entered a destination and then clicked on the black dot on the red pointer and then you enter your details,you can enter muliple times for different locations

I've just entered too, very weird comp! Seems you can enter as many times as you like? Surely every location in the UK will be covered by several people...?! Thanks Julie!

If only it was just UK. The map you click on to guess goes all over Europe and beyond Maybe we will have a better idea when it actually starts on the 15th, and are given more clues.

It is definitely just the UK we are looking in, it says on the site "It is in the UK and it is somewhere that he will recognize upon being found."

"MIB requires that your guess is within four square metres". The UK is 243,610,000,000 metres squared. I'm not great with the maths, and I'm sure there are better ways, but the following gives a rough estimate. To cover the entire UK and be within 4 metres from every point with the minimum number of squares you could use squares of side sq root 32 and with a diagonal of 8 metres. These squares will have an area of 32 metres squared. 243,610,000,000 divided by 32 is 7,612,812,500. This is roughly how many guesses you will need to make to ensure the whole UK is covered.
