UPDATE:
No news from Manager by 4.30pm so called her again. She apologised profusely and said she's speak to Triton immediately. 5 minutes later she calls back and tells me to bring the unit back for a new one and that she was extremely sorry about the conflicting info I'd been fed by her staff and Triton.
Plumber removing tomorrow and refixing on Friday = result all round so thanks for the advice all!
