Extending Wireless to Additional Hub

I've recently moved and setup o2 Broadband. Telephone sockets are in the two front rooms, so the router plugs in there.

However I have a Desktop and work Laptop which aren't wireless; can make the desktop wireless (card/USB adaptor) but work laptop is locked down for security (can't even use an adaptor). I wanted these in one the rear bedroom which will be our study too.

Is there a way of receiving the wireless signal and diverting it back down a cable? Both desktop and laptop have RJ45 ports. I know I can do it via a cable (ie to another router), but have freshly decorated walls and new carpets so can't lay the cable!
