Doesn't he have a point though?

If low DSRs = higher listing fees then that has to be passed onto the customer doesn't it which = higher prices.

    .

    No,

The Seller with the low DSR's will still have to sell at the same / lower price as the competition to make sales.
The seller with low DSR's will have to take the hit for higher fees from his profits.

If the seller puts up the prices of the product to account for higher fees then buyer will by the item cheaper from a seller with better DSR's

In this case the seller is making empty threats, If he could sell for a higher price he would be…

    low DSR’s = Less profit

Some people say its not fare but at the end of the day we all get the same calibre buyers, people with higher DSR’s / TRS who are selling the same lines must be doing something better.

Should ebay be allowing sales of Chanel at all? Aren't they one of the manufacturers in Vero?

I agree with you - up to a point - but price isn't the only point of comparison. LGG's Bobbi Brown thread is a case in point. The same gel eye liner in the same shade doesn't sell at £9.99 but does sell at £14.99. One of the colours sells for anything from £1.90 to £11.99. On the 8th Feb one sold for a BIN price of £14.99 when there were other BINs available for £6.49 and several on at low bids finishing that day.

Not everyone uses and cares about DSRs - or understands them - but to keep your profit margin when your DSRs mean that eBay gets more expensive you can either cut costs with a cheaper / older fake or stolen product or you can put up your prices. Or you can give up on eBay. None of which sounds like a good thing for eBay buyers.

After reading all that rubbish, I honestly wouldn't bother to bid.
I don't care about the sellers bad experience with Ebay, i don't care how high their listing fees are or how people are making them wait for payments. All I want is a simple description of what Im buying - it gave me a headache just trying to read it!
