WHY the need for capitals in ODD places? And why do sellers still list that they will leave neg feedback when they can't and haven't been able to for a long time now? That alone is enough to make me think that they don't really understand ebay and puts me off a listing.

That spouting off about anything less than a 5 DSR will result in higher prices comes across very aggressive and doesn't convince me he is a competent seller (and I've got to wade through that to get to the item description in the first place)

Plus any auction where the first line of text, even before the item description, reads "Be sure to add me to your favorites (sic) list" puts me off straight away.

Plus the threat of negative feedback is a waste of time.

Plus his "sense of humour" doesn't make me laugh. It just annoys me.

Plus his spelling, grammar, and general auction presentation is poor.

All in all, if I was looking to buy his items I'd be going straight to someone else (assuming they are available elsewhere).

here is your chance to impress your friends... :rotfl::rotfl:
8 x Chanel wipes which are individually wrapped for your handbag- these are anti-bacterial both for face and hands. As an extra I am including 4 x different Kiehl's sachets too.................You are bidding on 8+4 sachets

NO SHIPPING TO GERMANY - whats wrong with Germany?

even though they say 'compliments of Chanel'- they were not free to me.

    = 18 sachets 8 + 4 = 18?

"even though they say 'compliments of Chanel'- they were not free to me."

    Stolen samples??
  • Doesn't he have a point though?

If low DSRs = higher listing fees then that has to be passed onto the customer doesn't it which = higher prices.

eBay policies often have unintended and unwise consequences.

Recently I took two large boxes of books to my local charity shop because eBay's determination to compete with Amazon by insisting on free postage has all but killed off the book category on eBay. I buy tons of books but don't even bother to look on there anymore cos I know there's no point in people listing them.

I used to sell a few books and then buy a few books with my earnings each month but not anymore.

eBay doesn't seem to realise that its sellers are also a big chunk of its buyers and if you lose them as sellers you might also lose them as buyers.
