Virgin mobile promised me a package but are charging me more
Recently my contract was up with Virgin, I was paying £20 a month and decided there was better deals out there. But when talking with them hey offered me the same deal for £15 a month with the usual free phone, so I accepted it. I then get my bill and I have been charged £25 a month instead on a 25plan or something, they definetely said it would be £15 otherwise I would have left. The 300 mins and texts that I receive does not even exist on their site, that deal for the same phone is 500 mins and unlimited texts. Where do I stand as surely it's just my word against theirs?
I feel like just cancelling my direct debit but that would get me in more rouble I guess.
Any suggestions?

It sounds like they have put you on the wrong contract. Give them a call on 789 from your mobile or 0845 6000 789 from a landline and ask them to check your notes. If they say there's nothing on the notes to back you up then you can cancel the contract and return the handset as long as you have had it for less than 28 days. Then just get a new contract for £15.0
