I'm in again this week as must get organised as house is a tip.
have done the main bedroom & ensuite today and changed the bedding on all 3 beds in the house.
have warned DS that if his lego is not tidied up it will go up the vac when I do the lounge tomorrow.
have been getting side tracked by the competitions board which I found by accident in early January - it is very time consuming but I have had 2 wins so far!
havent had chance to read the thread so hope everyone is ok

Thank you so much to Pigpen, Toots and Soappie for all your megga amounts of hard work! I wish I had taken 'before' and 'after' photo's. You would be amazed at the massive difference you have made to the ceebeeby house!

And, a separate thank you to all the fly-ladies, who have kept me smiling through a carp week last week!!!

Please count me in again! I struggle hugely to keep up with all the posts, but I do keep up with the cleaning.

Love and hugs to all xxx

Pigpen - i noticed on the old thread that you were looking for B&B in Manchester area? What part of the Manchester area?....I'm a Stockport gal myself.....but have been in York for 21 years - and it is now home - my dotty mum and my football allegiance are all that remain on that side of the Pennines....

    OH is from Heaton Moor

I've just spent the evening in A & E because I stabbed the palm of my hand instead of the avocado stone! What an idiot - PLEASE learn the lesson everyone and take out the stone with a spoon. I'll try to do as much as I can one handed. Stitches not out till friday. ouch

:eek: Hand healing vibes being sent your way ... ouch!!!!!
  • my sister used to live in Heaton Norris till she disappeared to be with the love of her life in Oxford! Mum still lives in Hazel Grove and i spent a couple of years working in a Stockport branch of Virgin Records - not a big pop orientated one but a tiny rock/folk/jazz/classical music store - we prided ourselves on being able to name a tune if someone could sing it to us!

Managed to make sunday lunch, guiltily it was all frozen stuff from mashed potato to veg and I bought a cooked joint of beef :o....but it was ready quickly and everyone enjoyed it.:rotfl:

Managed to change the bedding, hoovered the bed so I'm pleased that was achieved.

DD2 has a terrible cough and cold and it seems I'm coming down with it...:(, need more vitamins. Off to search for food, cheers as always to Piggers, Soappie and Toots who all do an amazing job keeping this thread going. xx
