DS2 never helped as he went to the hospital with OH as BIL was rushed in last night. I need to phone at 10am to find out how he is once the Dr has been round.

Pigpen – I think I’m jumping in half way through a story, so apologies for any repeats. But if his name can’t be removed from the mortgage, does that mean he’s tied there forever and ever? If he’s such a KH, when the fixed rate comes to an end, presumably you’ll go onto SVR, does this not then leave you very vulnerable? Does he pay anything towards the mortgage?
He hasn't paid anything towards the mortgage since last May.
I am supposed to be getting housing benefit help with some of the mortgage but they are idiots and in the last 11 months have made 1 payment which is why I need to give them a jolly good kicking this week!
He is tied into the mortgage until our youngest leaves full time education.. be that at 16, 18 or 19.. should have thought about this before hopping into someone elses knickers shouldn't he?!
If he was a grown up we would shift onto another fixed rate in both our names and when OH finds work we can take over the mortgage then.. but he is STILL keeping the bank loan I am absolutely not picking up the financial hardship of the last 20 years just because he stamps his feet. I'm not quite sure what we would do here but I will look into it properly when we are in a financially secure enough place to be able to manage the payments. As he has not paid anything on the mortgage in such a while he is only entitled to 50% of any profit that stood to be made on the day that he left.. which isn't a great deal.. but we shall see where we end up.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Morning all
I feel a bit less fed up this morning (BF apologised for the spilt can incident when he say how upset I was), but I have a headache today. Really hoping it'll go away if I take something, but it's unlikely
Oh no, not bedroom day  Grrr I hate tidying my bedroom - always have since I was a child. Here's my list:
