Does anyone know, if I pull out my uni course now, will I still get my third loan installment in a few months? I'm guessing I will still pay out for the fees but wasn't sure about the rest....

Is it not worth just completing this year? There isn't too long left!

Also if you have a grant you're expected to pay back the overpayments.

You're only entitled to the maintenance loan & maintenance grant for the time you are in attendance, however if you were still in attendance on your course 3 months after the first day of the academic year, you qualify for the full tuition fee loan. The fees wouldn't be a problem for this year if you left now.

I really can't stand it, it's an awful course, so disorganised.. at the moment, I'm paying out on childcare and travel and it's quite expensive (takes an hour to get to uni) I'm just really unhappy and it's affecting my family :(

I think Taiko was trying to reassure you that although you'll still have to pay fees to the university, you will still get your fee loan so won't have to come up with the cash for that even though you are not entitled to any more maintanence loans/grants.

I didn't complete my first university course, I really regret not completing it. Don't do something you'll regret later.

I've not really liked it from day one.. I have had some very long chats with my OH and been mulling over it for a few months now. I am going to stick with what I know and remain with the police force I think.. I am applying for a crimonilogy course to help me..
