Help me stop OH whinging!!!

My OH keeps whinging there is nothing sweet in the house. I made some weetabix brownies last week for a work picnic and he ate the leftovers and loved them!

Trouble is, the budget is really shoestring this month and wondered if there was anything at all that could be made from

Plain flour (about a kilo)
SR flour (about 8-12oz)
butter (3oz)
milk (1/4 pint)
sugar (8oz)
weetabix (lots!!)
cocoa powder - (2x20g sachets)
semolina
1 sachet strawberry sugar free jelly
vegetable oil (1/4 pint)
dried yeast
sultanas
sachet of instant custard
3 very manky looking bananas :o

i haven't got any eggs, or very much butter. The bananas are almost walking :o Anything pudding (I can think of jelly and custard and bananas and custard  ) tray bake, biscuit, anything really!!!!!!

A challenge to keep my OH quiet (please!) :rotfl:

This is a chocolate cake recipe that uses sunflower oil in place of butter; useful if you're running low on butter.

Trifle. With the Jelly and Custard. If you have tinned fruit you could mix it with the jelly.

    Banana and custard tart.

Make pastry and blind bake in pie dish, when cool cover the base with sliced bananas and cover with cooled custard and chill in the fridge.

Rikki - I think you might have it......I don't have any tinned fruit (my cupboards are so bare -sob!) ........but banana and custard tart might just work......wonder how manky the bananas are inside

I don't have any of the baking beans , would that matter? Maybe if I !!!!! the pastry before I blind bake it?
