Hi,
Ive been using a d-link airplus extreme for 18 months with not an ounce of bother. Some routers are better than others so do look around for some forums and advice on the one you like before parting with the dosh. The above site posted by Albetross is a good place to start. Plenty of choice and not bad prices
I have nothing better to do!!!!

Couldn't agree more. I bought a Netgear WGT634U to replace an old Netgear RP114 to add wireless capability. The WGT634U was useless, needing rebooting every few days. I have gone back to using the RP114, which although it is ancient technology is bulletproof for reliability and just added a wireless access point.0 -

Thanx, What is the difference in these WRT54G or WRT54GL plus there is the WRT54GS Which is the best out of those?
She has a 3com wireless laptop card 54 Mbps at distances up to 100 meters but she may get a better laptop later and cardThanx

The L in WRT54GL stands for Linux which is the operating system used internally by the router and it also uses OpenSource (Linux) config tools. That's one difference, there may be others - I'd compare the user guides if you want to know more.
The WRT54GS has something called Speedbooster which is a proprietary Linksys enhancement to increase the speed, however it only achieves this increase if you have a compatible wireless adapter.0
