EasyMobile SIM Problem

I've just got one of the special offer EasyMobile SIMs (with £25 free credit). I've followed the instructions to activate the SIM and everything worked smoothly. Following activation it says that the SIM card will be active within 1-2 hours.

It's now 4 hours since I activated and every time I try to make a call I get a voice saying: "Calls to this number are barred from your phone."

Is this likely to be because they haven't managed to activate the card yet (perhaps because they're swamped with many people doing the same thing), or is there another explanation?

    I've been Money Tipped!
    Mine is doing the same - they have told me they have a problem today with activations and to keep trying

    Now working. I'm damned if I can figure out how to configure a Samsung E800 to connect to the internet via EasyMobile though! If anybody has any ideas ......

  • You could try the T-mobile website or anywhere else you can find the T-mobile settings as I believe Easy Mobile's are the same.

    Thanks, I have the settings. The phone just doesn't seem to have places where all of them can be manually entered!
