I`m going to a wedding later this month in London. I would like to have my hair done on the morning of the wedding. What do you think are the chances of the salons in London accepting the voucher on a Sat ?
My home postcode is 200 miles away from London !!!0 -

I dont see why not....give em a ringare the Hair Group salons just for women, or are they for men as well?
they will only put 2 in (unless youre lucky) if you need 3 you should order seperately (2+1, although might as well get 4) and pay 2 lots of p&pcookiemonster25 wrote: »have just ordered 3 photoshoots for £1.95 :j

I think the salons 'accept' you on the basis of your postcode....so this might not work but Im sure its worth a phonecall to ask them?I`m going to a wedding later this month in London. Thanks sooo much. Brilliant presents

I recieved one of the vouchers for a hair cut from Buy a Gift for my birthday in November and phoned the number and sent off the portion of the voucher to hair Group.
Was told the salon would be in contact to arrange an appointment within 2 weeks.
2 months later  recieved a letter inviting me to contact a local salon for an appointment so called and they could only do it between 9 and 3 on a Monday or Tuesday so quite restrictive really. (Not sure if I'm going to use the free appointment or not)
Also considering somebody brought this as a gift (they paid the full 20 pounds for it) it was put to me in the letter from the salon that I'd entered a competition to win a hair cut?
In my experience I don't think the hair vouchers are suitable to give to somebody as a present - may be ok to treat yourself if your prepared for a 2 month wait (or perhaps I was just unlucky?)0 -
depends when in November it was as to if they paid full price, this promo was running then aswell.....just a thoughtgalvanizersbaby wrote: »I recieved one of the vouchers for a hair cut from Buy a Gift for my birthday in November and phoned the number and sent off the portion of the voucher to hair Group.

I would personally like to contact the salon myself in my own time rather than them calling to put me on the spot asking when to make the app for. I think the 'competition' thing is just their standard ways of working, if you look on the hair group website it actually says:Thank you for entering a Hair Group
hairdressing promotion. And that is regardless of buying it or 'winning it'.0 -

Err....It was from my OH actually and my birthday was 13th of Nov so I know how much he paid
(he is not an mser and I thought I would end up having to contact buy a gift for a refund)
I saw the promotion on mse afterwards and brought a couple more to give as gifts which I won't now be giving.
Regardless of the price paid I still wouldn't want to give it as a gift personally due to the 2 month delay and the way the 'promotion' is worded.
I wasn't given an option to contact the salon myself as the HairGroup would not tell me which one it was in my local area.
When I called to try and chase up with the Hairgroup (in the 2 month lag) there was no reply or I left a message and my call wasn't answered)
They didn't phone me and put me on the spot though - they wrote to me to thank me for entering their competition and invited me to contact them for an appointment (abeit 2 months late)
As I say perhaps I was just unlucky but I wouldn't risk giving the hair vouchers as gifts - no idea what the other experiences are like.0
