Replacing Car Brakes BY YOURSELF

Hi. Anyone have adventured to change car brakes themselves? Checked some videos of how to do it, and can be done, but CAN IT REALLY BE DONE by an unprofessional? Brakes are an important factor for your and other road users safety. Anyway... anyone have done it?

Ive changed my discs and pads quite a few times with no training other than watching my boyfriend change brakes and having a haynes manual. even my dad trusts me to change his brakes!

I use a g clamp to push the piston back in.
