I'd recommend at least 2 or 3 comparisons to ensure that you get consistent results.

In addition to Uswitch, try some of the following comparison sites:
    • Simplyswitch
    • Energylinks
    • TescoCompare
    • Switchwithwhich
    • ukpower
I tried these and found the results to be pretty much the same - for me First Utility and EDF were the top 2 (by price) every time.

    Good Luck
  • Good help with compare sites but how can I compare when I am moving to new area and dont have current supply to compare with? Anyone in Nueaton and searched best deal for dual fuel between EON and EDF?

You could enter your KWh consumption details into a comparison website and use a valid Nuneaton Postcode instead of your own; I presume there's nothing wrong with doing that.

edf online saver 5 seems quite popular here, where would you guys be jumping to if it wasnt an option?

For me British Gas Websaver 6 was next by a couple of pounds, and Scottish Power Online 9 a further £2 back. As mentioned First Utility were top by price but I was unimpressed by reviews, so I'd probably have jumped ship to Scottish Power for the sake of the £2 per year difference (taking into account the £110 cashback available)

Dont you think EDF online saver 5 is better than British G?

It all depends on your area you live in Pinktooth, what is a fantastic deal for me in the NorthEast on EDF wouldn't be the same if I lived in the South of England or North of Scotland.

You can only go by your consumption and your postcode in the comparison sights and go with what is best for you personally. Taking on board of course any info from here on poor customer service of certain companies you might choose to avoid.
