£500, eeek!! It is beautiful though!

My dress has cost the least so far, the car, the photographer, the cake, OH's suit and the bridesmaid dress will all cost more than my dress lol :o
Me too, I dont think I put my cost, but it was only £90 delivered. Ive no idea what alterations are going to cost, cos no one can give a price until they actually do them (crafty arent they). Cept for my daughters bridesmaid dress, that was only £30.
I was tempted to buy shoes that cost more than my dress but peep toe dont suit my feet, but I am so in love with these shoes, lol!

Picked mine yesterday, finally. The ladies in the shop panic when I say its 6 months 2 weeks away, and they're thinking 'thats only 2 weeks for alterations, thats not much time!'

    This is it.2304.jpg

Having tulle straps added as I feel too naked without straps!

I love your dress Dinah - who is it by?

A quick Q for those n the know.

I have already paid for my alterations the package is £90 for any number of alterations, but im a perfect size 8 and its corset backed and i have added extra length to it as im 6 foot tall. I really cant see it needing to be altered.

What if i dont need any alterations, can i request that money back.

  • Here is my dress...... its the worst picture in the world lol... its hard to tell what it is like but i shall be having either tulle straps or halter neck added and i am having the train completely lopped off (to the shops horror LOL!) as i HATE trains (personal choice...no offence and each to their own!!) as a train would just annoy me, make me paranoid through the day and drag about behind me....... yep - i loath trains (for me!) although they do LOOK lovely lol....!!!!
Think it doesn't help that i don't have a picture of someone IN it lol...looks a bit shapeless :( but it isn't!!!! Promise :o

Baldrick, does it have to be this way? Our valued friendship ending with me cutting you up into strips and telling the prince that you walked over a very sharp cattle grid in an extremely heavy hat?

Yes it was, it was £1595 but i haggled a 20% discount, but i also ordered a veil thats £389 , its a full length veil and it has swarovski crystals all over the edge not many just enough to make it sparkle, the dress doesnt look right without it, i arent happy about paying that for a veil cos its just bloody ridiculous but i cant find anything similar, the veil really finished the dress off.
